Yesterday was our High Attendance Sunday for First Baptist and we also had a lunch for single adults & college students. You might ask, “Why do we do that?” Well, simply put, we want to reach people for Jesus. I am amazed at everything in life that becomes a priority to people or even becomes “their god.” I hope and pray that your priority and my priority is bringing people to Jesus. If your priority is your job/career, a hobby, a relationship, possessions or even your family, then your priorities are out of order.

When we hold a High Attendance Sunday or some other outreach event, invite someone or even pick them up and bring them with you! Do we want more people at church? We sure do. Not just to say we had a certain number in attendance but simply because we want to bring people to Jesus. When you and I get just a glimpse of God in His glory with His blazing holiness, we should be out in the streets bringing people so that they may hear the gospel of Jesus. When is the last time that you shared Jesus with the lost? When was the last time that you brought someone with you to church so that they could hear about Jesus and then hopefully make a decision to change their eternity from hell to heaven?
